How MaxCut Business Edition Licensing Works

MaxCut Business licenses are based on a "per device" model. This means each license is linked to a specific physical machine. You can choose to subscribe monthly or yearly. Below we explain what this means in more detail.

Updated 1 week ago

1. What “Per Device” Means

A MaxCut Business license can be activated on one machine.

2. Monthly vs Yearly Subscriptions

You can choose how often you'd like to be billed:

  • Per Month Per Device:
Pay monthly. Your license lasts one calendar month from the subscription date and renews automatically.

  • Per Year Per Device:
Pay yearly. Your license lasts one calendar year from the subscription date and renews automatically.

3. Common Questions

Q: Can one person use the software on two different computers?
A: No. Each license is tied to one machine. You’ll need a separate license per device.

Q: Can two people share a license?
A: Yes, if they’re using the same computer and not using the software simultaneously.

Q: What if I get a new PC or want to move the license?
A: See this article, or reach out to support. We’ll help you transfer your license to the new device.
